Unsurprisingly, the spread of the novel coronavirus is radically expanding. Outbreaks in northern Italy and South Korea, combined with initial cases in Brazil, Germany, and other countries have folks searching for good information on what to expect and how to prepare. Today's Washington Post article on the topic -- https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2020/02/26/how-to-prepare-for-coronavirus/?arc404=true -- is exactly the WRONG type of information upon which individuals and organizations should rely. While a Chicken Little "the sky is falling" attitude is unwarranted, a world of just-in-time international supply chains demands resilience founded upon prudent preparedness.
